What Happens During Your First Visit?
Your first visit at Cucci Chiropractic is designed to help us understand your concerns and determine whether chiropractic care may be appropriate for you.
We Start by Listening to You?
We begin with a conversation about your symptoms, health history, and daily activities. This helps us understand what may be contributing to how you’re feeling.
A Detailed Exam to Understand Your Body
We perform a physical and postural exam to see how your body is moving and functioning.
If needed, X-rays may be recommended to help ensure that chiropractic care is safe and appropriate for your condition.
We Explain What We Find and Your Options?
After your evaluation, we’ll walk you through:
- What may be causing your symptoms
- Whether chiropractic care may help support your condition
- What your care plan could look like
- What kind of timeline to expect
If additional care is needed, we may recommend working with other providers such as physical therapy or acupuncture.
Your First Treatment (If Appropriate)
In many cases, your first visit may include supportive care such as:
- Chiropractic adjustments
- Soft tissue or manual therapy
- Muscle-focused techniques
If you’re not comfortable with adjustments, we can discuss other approaches. Your care is always based on your comfort level.
Simple Exercises to Support Your Progress
You may be given exercises to help support your movement and recovery.
These may include:
- Easy at-home exercises
- Guided movements during your visits
We focus on both alignment and muscle support, since they work together.
Ask Questions Anytime
We want you to feel comfortable and informed.
You’re encouraged to ask questions about:
- Your condition
- Your care plan
- What to do (or avoid) between visits
We believe understanding your care is an important part of the process.
How to Prepare for Your First Appointment
To help your visit go smoothly, we recommend completing your forms ahead of time.
Save Time by Filling Out Your Forms in Advance
New patients can reduce wait time by preparing their intake forms before arriving.
- Download and print the Patient Intake Form
- Fill it out completely
- Bring it with you to your appointment
This allows you to spend more time with the doctor and less time on paperwork.
